Motor Admin Consultant (JG11)

Santam’s Motor Claims has a position available for a Motor Admin Consultant that will be based in Centurion. The primary goal of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of vehicle towings to the correct Santam destination, while minimizing storage and towing costs. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the repair process of motor claims post-assessor approval, managing payments, dealing with escalations and complaints, closing claims, and handling various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expedite repair process instructions using Audawatch, BPM & ClaimCenter.
  • Communicate with assessors, MBRs, or intermediaries to gather necessary information for payment processing and resolution of queries.
  • Ensure towed vehicles reach the correct destinations.
  • Arrange car rentals through Broker internet registrations.
  • Oversee the end-to-end towing process in motor claims.
  • Escalate MBR Non-Compliance issues to CRM for resolution.
  • Update and complete outstanding information on Audawatch.
  • Create and update tasks in Abuntex Integrated claims system.
  • Handle complaints, queries, and interactions with service providers, internal stakeholders, and Relationship Managers.
  • Provide post-support on BPM and RSS platforms.
  • Manage status 70, 80, and 90, keeping dashboards updated and meeting TAT targets.
  • Contact suppliers to follow up on outstanding invoices and reconcile payments.
  • Process recoveries and address any urgent tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Matric qualification.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Previous experience in claims handling, pre-support, or post-support is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of ClaimCentre, Avaya, Abuntex, Dreamtec, and BPM is beneficial.
